Distribution Staff Member

We are looking for a staff member to join the team who will be working primarily in our second warehouse where we operate a drive-thru food line and assemble boxes for over 3,000 families in need per a month. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Load food boxes into cars.

• Help the drive-thru line team in moving cars through the line efficiently.

• Keep the warehouse clean (break down cardboard, sweep, pick up trash, etc.)

• Help lead and instruct volunteer teams. 

• Support team members who are working the line. 

• Help support the other warehouse (or other departments) when needed. 

Qualifications/skills:

• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs and be on your feet all day. 

• Must be able to work in the heat.

• Able to communicate effectively and kindly with coworkers, volunteers, and clients.

• Able to handle high stress environments.

• Attention to detail.

• Proactive in completing tasks that need to be done without being told.

• Creative problem solver.

• Flexible and willing to help the team to get the job done. 

• Compassionate with a desire to help others in need.

Education/work experience required:

• High-school diploma or equivalent

• Previous work experience with a non-profit, grocery store, or warehouse is preferred but not required. Forklift driving experience is also preferred but not required. 

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. and every first and third Saturday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m..

This position starts at $9 an hour. Higher pay may be negotiable depending on your education and experience.
