“Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”

Faces Of Need, Faces You Know

Think of someone close to your heart. Whether it’s your father, mother, sibling, relative, neighbor, or coworker: imagine that person you know is secretly struggling with a need as basic as a dependable supply of food... Someone you’d never even think of as a face of need, who nobody would have ever suspected, is hungry.

This isn’t just a hypothetical scenario. The truth is there are many faces of need in our community. They’re all around us, and they’re not always obvious. They’re people you live next to. People you see at church. People you work with. People you know.

It’s easy to get lost in the mad rush of the holiday season. Even so, there’s no better time to reflect on what truly matters and do our best to make a difference in the lives of others.

A Little Goes A Long Way

This year Our Daily Bread Food Bank is looking toward our community to help alleviate hunger right here in Tangipahoa. We’re asking for a small, but valuable monthly donation of $6.12. For nearly the cost of a subscription to Netflix, your generous donation will provide 24 meals to those who need it the most.

By The Numbers

Here are just a few of the ways Our Daily Bread been instrumental in alleviating hunger in Tangipahoa Parish.
